Replacement of the LED Headlamp

Light-emitting diode (LED) headlights must be replaced as an assembly. No part of the assembly can be individually replaced.

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, shut down the engine, and apply the parking brake. Chock the tires.
  2. Unlatch and open the hood.
  3. Unlock the headlight assemble electrical connector by sliding the red locking tab, then disconnect the headlight assembly electrical connector. See Fig..

  4. Remove the four fasteners that attach the headlight assembly to the hood. See Fig..

  5. Remove and discard the headlamp assembly.
  6. Position the new headlamp assembly on the vehicle hood, then install the four fasteners that attach the headlight assembly to the hood. See Fig.. Tighten the fasteners 66±9 lbf·in (746±102 N·cm).
  7. Connect the electrical connector to the new headlight assembly, then slide the red locking tab to lock the connector. See Fig..
  8. Close and latch the hood.
  9. Clean the headlight lens.
  10. Check the headlight aim.
