Allison Automatic Transmissions

Allison automatic transmissions are controlled by one of the following shift controls depending on what is installed in the vehicle. See Fig., see Fig., see Fig. and see Fig.. For vehicles equipped with the automatic transmission multifunction control, shown in Fig., the control moves in two directions and has two switches. It is used to request manual shifts, change shift mode, set engine brake levels, and control specialty engine brake functions.
