Electric Service Center
The information under this heading is to help familiarize the driver with the basic electrical system. Servicing the electrical system should be done only by qualified technicians. Special skills and equipment are required. Take your vehicle to an authorized Freightliner Custom Chassis service facility for repairs. The MB and XB chassis use multiple electrical components (and fuel and hydraulic filters); each component is mounted in varying locations on the chassis. If equipped with an Arens service center, it is mounted in one specific location, and that mounting location will vary. See Fig..
