Removal
of the Fuel Prefilter - Ops - DD5
- Using a 36 mm socket, unscrew the prefilter cap.
- Pull the cap and prefilter straight up and out of the fuel filter housing.
- Remove
the prefilter (1) from the prefilter cap (2) by placing the filter
on a solid surface and apply pressure on prefilter cap (2) at an angle.
- Discard the prefilter.
- Inspect inside the housing for any large debris; clean housing as needed.
- Discard the prefilter cap seal ring.
