Inspection of the Drain Tube

    Notice: The BPHS drain tube(s) must be kept clear of debris. Failure to do so will cause excessive water build-up in the base of the unit and may cause damage to the internal components.
  1. Remove the battery cover/step or forward side fairing, as needed, to improve access to the underside of the BPHS unit.
    2. Note: Remove and clean the drain tubes.
  2. Remove the drain tube(s) from the bottom of the unit. See Fig. .

  3. Check the drain tube(s) for debris, and clean as needed.
  4. Install the drain tube(s).
  5. Install any components that were removed for access.
