Inspection of the Drain Tube

Notice: The BPHS drain tube(s) must be kept clear of debris. Failure to do so will cause excessive water build-up in the base of the unit and may cause damage to the internal components.

Remove the battery cover/step or forward side fairing, as needed, to improve access to the underside of the BPHS unit.

Note: Remove and clean the drain tubes.

Remove the drain tube(s) from the bottom of the unit. See Fig..

Fig. 1, Drain Tube Inspection
Check the drain tube(s) for debris, and clean as needed.
Install the drain tube(s).
Install any components that were removed for access.
