Note:  Only three types of USA and Canadian traffic signs are currently detected:

  • speed limit signs (from speeds 5 to 140)

  • passing signs

  • exclusion signs

See Fig.  for currently recognized USA signs and Fig.  for Canadian signs.

  5. Do Not Pass

  6. Pass With Care

When a traffic sign is recognized by the system, an image representing it appears in the instrument panel. See Fig. . In order to operate, the traffic sign display feature must be activated in the instrument panel menu.

  • Detected Speed Limit and Do Not Pass signs displayed.
