Closing the Hood

- Grasp and lift the grab handle to tilt the hood toward the closed position.
- As the hood goes over center, put one foot on the bumper
step and slowly lower the hood with both hands on the grab handle.

- Make sure the hood is flush with the cowl, then secure the hood by engaging both hood hold-down latches.
Important: Make sure that both latches are fully engaged before operating the vehicle.
