Replacing the Inline Fuel Strainer, Cummins Engine

    Note: Vehicles with a Cummins engine have an inline fuel strainer located on the left-hand side of the engine.

  1. Remove the tie bands that secure the fuel strainer.
  2. Important: The fuel flow arrow on the fuel strainer must be pointed toward the engine.

  3. Remove the strainer, and replace it with a new one.
  4. Secure the fuel strainer with tie bands.
