Cooling System

Proper maintenance of the cooling system is vital to its performance and longevity. The cooling system deals with cavitation, temperature and pressure swings, and continuous threats to the additive package.

Failure to maintain the cooling system at required concentrations or using coolants that do not meet Detroit™ specifications will result in severe damage to the engine cooling system and related components. The cooling system should be maintained per the maintenance intervals, Preventive Maintenance Tables.
