How to Select Lubricating Oil

Detroit Fluids Specification (DFS) DFS 93K223 (API FA-4) or DFS 93K222 (API CK-4) oils are recommended for use in the engine.

For optimal fuel economy, use DFS 93K223 approved API FA-4 engine oil.
