Emergency Shutdown Procedures

The high voltage system can be shut off in the following ways.

  1. Turn the key to OFF and remove the key.
  2. Press the eStop button located on the dash as as shown, see Fig.

    A lock can be inserted through the eStop button guard to keep the button depressed.
  3. In addition, for the use of emergency responders, a cut through cable access point, as shown, see Fig..exists below each cab door. If the eStop button on the dash cannot be accessed, emergency responders can cut the wiring at either of these locations.
