Reactivating Optimized Idle

If the hood is opened or the vehicle is put into gear while Optimized Idle is running, the system will enter a safety loop and a pop-up will appear. See Fig.. Restoring operating conditions (e.g. closing the hood or setting the transmission in neutral) and performing a key cycle will allow Optimized Idle to be reactivated.
