Notice: The batteries must be disconnected if the vehicle is not in use for a period exceeding two weeks, or the vehicle may not start, and permanent battery damage could occur.
A battery disconnect switch, if so equipped, cuts off all battery power to the vehicle. It is also used whenever the vehicle is placed out of service for extended periods to prevent battery discharge. The battery disconnect switch is located on the side of the battery box. See Fig..
