Note: The motor icon under the gauge will never activate. Other motor warnings, such as the motor failure indicator, will activate in the instrument panel if a temperature issue causes motor failure.
During normal operation, the motor temperature should register approximately in the middle of the gauge. If the gauge registers high (H) and the motor failure indicator activates, the driver should safely pull off to the side of the road. See Fig..
