Shutdown

  1. With the vehicle stopped, place the transmission in neutral (N).
  2. Set the parking brake.
  3. Turn the key to the OFF position.
  4. Remove the key from the ignition switch.

    Note:  When the key is removed from the ignition, the high voltage is shutoff, but the instrument panel may remain on for 60 seconds.
