There can be up to 24 warning and indicator lamps (telltales) installed in the dash message center. See Fig..

  5. Trailer ABS Indicator (not used)

  6. Low Air Pressure Warning

  7. ABS Warning

  8. Parking Brake On Warning

  9. Right-Turn Indicator

  10. Headlight High-Beam Indicator

  11. Cruise Control Indicator

  12. Fasten Seat Belt Warning

  13. Engine Brake Warning

  14. Transmission Overheat Warning

  15. Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)

  16. Stop Engine Warning

  17. Check Engine Warning

The instrument cluster has an emergency buzzer that sounds when serious conditions that require immediate attention occur.
