Emergency Buzzer

The emergency buzzer sounds during the ignition sequence and whenever one of the following conditions exists:

The engine oil pressure falls below the preset level shown in Fig. .

The coolant temperature rises above the preset level, which is 225°F (107°C).

The air pressure falls below the preset level, which is 65 psi (448 kPa).
-
The parking brake is set with the vehicle moving at a speed greater than 2 mph (3 km/h).
Oil Pressure Specifications
Note: Oil pressure
is given with the engine at operating temperature. With the engine
cold, oil pressure may be higher. Individual engines may vary from
the listed pressures; observe and record pressures when the engine
is new to create a guide for checking engine condition
