Water Fording Information

Important: Not all vehicles are designed to ford bodies of water. The standard referenced below only applies to fire and emergency vehicles.
Fording a body of water in a vehicle not designed to do so can lead to significant vehicle damage.
If operating a fire or emergency vehicle, refer to the NFPA 1900-24 standards to evaluate whether, or under what conditions, it is appropriate for this vehicle to ford standing water.
