Alternate Upshifting Procedures (15-Speed Transmissions Only)

The shift from deep reduction to low range can also be made from 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear of deep reduction, but must be made to the next gear lower in the low range. The shift from 2nd gear of deep reduction to 1st gear in low range (or 3rd gear of deep reduction to 2nd gear in low range, and 4th gear of deep reduction to 3rd gear in low range), is an upshift, and the same procedure should be followed as that shown for shifting from 5th gear of deep reduction to 4th gear in low range.
