Pour Point
Pour Point is the temperature at which the fuel will no longer flow or eventually turn solid. Typically and effectively, the pour point of fuels can be adjusted with mixing D1 or kerosene.
Note: When prolonged idling periods or cold weather conditions below
0°C (32°F) are encountered, the use of No. 1 Diesel fuel is recommended.
However, note that transit coach engines are emission certified on
either No. 1 or No. 2 Diesel fuel. To maintain emission compliance,
only use the correct certified fuel.
