High-Beam Headlights

Note: The ignition switch must be on for the high beams to work.

To activate the high-beam headlights, push the turn signal lever forward, towards the windshield. Pull the lever back to its original position to turn the high-beam headlights off. See Fig.. The low beams remain on during high beam operation.

When the high-beam headlights are on, a blue light illuminates on the instrument panel. For vehicles built for domicile in the United States, the road lights turn off when the high beams are activated.

To flash the high beams momentarily, pull the lever backward, towards the steering wheel.

Move the lever forward to activate the high-beam headlights. Move the lever back to its original position to turn the high-beam headlights off.

Move the lever back toward the steering wheel to flash the high beams momentarily.
