There are 19 warning and indicator lamps (telltales) installed in the dash message center. See Fig..

The instrument cluster has an emergency buzzer that sounds when serious conditions that require immediate attention occur.

A description of the standard warning and indicator lamps are listed below.

  1. Maintenance Warning Lamp

  2. Left-Turn Indicator

  3. Check Engine Warning

  4. Stop Engine Warning

  5. Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)

  6. Low Air Pressure Warning

  7. Engine Brake Light (not used)

  8. Headlight High-Beam Indicator

  9. Wait to Start Indicator

  10. Hydraulic Brake System Warning

  11. ABS Warning

  12. Traction Control Indicator

  13. Shift Inhibit Indicator

  14. Check Transmission Indicator

  15. Stop Transmission Indicator

  16. Right-Turn Indicator

  17. Fasten Seat Belt Warning

  18. Parking Brake On Warning

  19. Cruise Control Indicator
