Adjusting the Headlight Aim
Notice: Do not use power tools to adjust headlight aim. Doing so will strip or break the adjusting screw.
For 5700 models, headlight adjustment is made on the bottom of the headlight assembly, accessible through the wheel well when the hood is closed.
Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver inserted through the slot in the hood-mounted splash shield (see Fig.), turn the adjusting screw clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower it, until the beam pattern meets the acceptable standard.
For adjustment screw locations on a 4700 model, see Fig.. Turn the adjustment screw in either direction until the beam pattern meets the acceptable standard.
