Temporarily Disabling the System

The system can be temporarily disabled by pressing the LANE ALERT switch; when the system is disabled, the red 'enabled' lamp will go OFF. See Fig.. The system will re-enable itself after 15 minutes. Warnings can be enabled sooner by pressing the switch again.
