The following information lists the amperage (amp) load limits for each of the connections in the 7-pin connector. See Fig. for an example of the 7-pin connector.

Electric Brakes (to brake the system) — A 12 gauge wire interfaces with the 7-pin connector trailer tow plug. See the brake manual for exact specifications.
