Emergency Shutdown

The instrument panel will shut down if the voltage supply is not within the normal operating range of 9 to 16 volts for more than 10 milliseconds. During emergency shutdown, the gauge pointers freeze, the display goes blank, and the lamps turn off. When power is restored to within the normal operating range following an emergency shutdown, a self-test is performed before resuming normal operation.
