Greasing the Drive Axle S-cam Tube

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, shut down the engine, and set the parking brake.
2. Chock the front tires.
3. Chock one drive tire.
4. Cage the drive tire park-brake chamber opposite of the tire that is chocked.
5. Grease the S-cam tube on the caged park-brake chamber side only.
6. Uncage the park-brake chamber.
7. Move the drive tire chock to the other side of the axle and chock the other set of tires.
8. Cage the drive-tire park-brake chamber opposite of the tire that is chocked.
9. Grease the S-cam tube on the caged brake side only.
10. Uncage the park-brake chamber.
11. If equipped with more than one drive-axle, repeat this process for the remaining drive-axle.
