ABS Warning

The ABS indicator illuminates when there is a malfunction in the vehicle antilock brake system (ABS).

Note: For more information about this indicator and the ABS system, see Chapter 9 .

Warning: If the ABS warning lights come on while driving, repair the system immediately to ensure full antilock brake capability. Operating the vehicle when the ABS needs to be serviced could cause an accident, possibly resulting in personal injury or death, or property damage.
