Cold-Weather Operation
The eCascadia vehicle is designed and tested for temperatures ranging from –4°F to 104°F (–20°C to 40°C).
If the vehicle is in good mechanical condition and the precautions necessary for cold-weather operation are followed, ordinary cold weather should not cause difficulty in starting and operating the vehicle.
Important: Range performance, and the cab comfort/defrost performance, may reduce with lower temperatures. When temperatures are below –4°F (–20°C) leave the vehicle on the charger while parked to maximize the range and performance. If possible, park the vehicle inside, or find other ways to increase the ambient temperature of the vehicle.
