Activating/Deactivating Active Brake Assist 5

The only way to turn the ABA5 system off is to turn the vehicle off.

To override an active warning and braking event sequence, press the accelerator pedal past the pressure point to engage kickdown.

If there is a system error, the ABA5 unavailable telltale, as as shown in Fig. , illuminates on the driver display screen and a caution window, as as shown in Fig. , is shown on the driver display.
