Courtesy Lighting

Courtesy lighting consists of a number of lamps that illuminate when a cab door is opened. These lamps include:

  • door lamps,

  • foot well lamps, and

  • cab dome lamp.

The duration of this courtesy lighting can be modified on the infotainment screen under 'Lighting' > 'Interior Lighting' > 'Settings' (gear icon).

Door Lamps

A door lamp is located on the bottom front of each door pocket.

Foot Well Lamps

These amber lamps illuminate both foot wells. These can also be activated with the foot well light switch shown in Fig. .

Cab Dome Lamp

This is the lamp located on the highest point of the 'dome' of the cab. It can also be controlled with the dome light switch shown in Fig. .

Dash or Reading Lamps

The dash or reading light consists of two lamps that provides ambient light for the center dash area. These can be turned on and off by pressing on the lamp covers.

Dash Lighting

The light from the dash switches and screens adjusts automatically based on ambient lighting.

Premium Lighting

Some vehicles are equipped with premium lighting. Premium lighting gradually illuminates the cab and dash lamps when they are turned on and gradually dims them when they are turned off.
