Recirculation Mode

Recirculation mode limits the amount of outside air entering the cab. Recirculation mode can also decrease the time required to cool or heat the cab interior when environmental temperatures are extremely hot or extremely cold.

To prevent drawing dusty, smoky, extremely hot, or extremely cold air into the cab, press the recirculation mode button shown in Fig.. An amber indicator on the recirculation button illuminates while the recirculation mode is turned on.

To prevent the buildup of odors and oxygen depletion inside the cab, the system changes from full recirculation mode to partial recirculation mode after 20 minutes. During extreme climate conditions or when driving through dusty or smoky conditions, the partial recirculation mode can be overridden by pressing the recirculation button twice to switch back to full recirculation mode for another 20 minutes.
