Deactivating Optimized Idle

Optimized idle can be shut down by;

• using the optimized idle menu screens on the driver display,

• turning off the ignition,

• and using the drive-away feature, as follows:

• If the engine is running: Release the parking brakes, put the transmission in gear (automated/automatic transmissions), or depress the clutch (manual transmissions).

• If the engine is not running: Start the engine. Release the parking brakes, put the transmission in gear (automated/automatic transmissions), or depress the clutch (manual transmissions).

• Let the engine return to base idle. The telltale will turn off. Optimized idle is now disabled.
