If equipped, the Detroit Assurance Traffic Sign Display system increases road safety by making the driver aware of posted traffic signs. Traffic sign display uses video data from the multipurpose camera in combination with GPS map data to recognize USA and Canadian traffic signs and display them in the instrument panel. GPS information dictates the language and style of the sign display.
