Sitting Posture

Before driving, adjust the seat to support good sitting posture as shown in Fig. Good posture supports the safe operation of the vehicle and the driver's fitness and comfort. When correctly seated, all instruments and controls should be within easy reach and the driver should have a clear view of the road and mirrors.

Adjust the steering wheel and seat to achieve a 95° to 135° angle at the elbow joints.

Adjust the bottom cushion to achieve a 100° to 115° angle at the hip joints.

Adjust the seat height to achieve a 110° to 120° angle at the knee joints.

Adjust the seat to achieve a 90° angle with the feet.
