Setting the Spring Brakes on a Tractor-Trailer Combination

Intellipark can set the spring brakes on a tractor-trailer with a single input. Pulling the yellow parking brake control sets the parking brake on the tractor and the spring brakes on the trailer.

  1. Bring the vehicle to a complete stop.

  2. Continue to apply the foot brake.

  3. Place the transmission in the appropriate gear.

  4. Verify that all LEDs are extinguished.

  5. Pull the bottom of the yellow parking brake control.

  6. Verify that all LEDs on both controls illuminate. See Fig..
