Note: Only three types of USA and Canadian traffic signs are currently detected:

  • Speed Limit signs (from speeds 5 to 140)

  • Passing signs

  • Exclusion signs

  3. Night Speed Limit (only at night)

  4. School Speed Limit

  5. Do Not Pass

  6. Pass With Care

  7. No Trucks

When a traffic sign is recognized by the system, an image representing it appears in the instrument panel. See Fig. and Fig.. The ICU will display up to two traffic signs at a time. If more than two signs are recognized by the system, the most safety critical signs will be displayed.

  • Detected Speed Limit and Do Not Pass signs displayed.
