Hill Start Aid Override Switch
sdp dm 04.07.005
Some vehicles are equipped with a hill start aid (HSA) feature to prevent the vehicle from rolling while on steep grades and to allow for a controlled launch. HSA delays the release of the service brakes until enough torque is available to begin moving the vehicle forward, for a maximum of 3 seconds. HSA is "on" by default. It can be turned off by pressing and releasing the HSA override switch on the dash. See Fig..
