Vehicle Identification Label Locations
Note: Labels shown in this chapter are examples only. Actual specifications may vary from vehicle to vehicle.
This vehicle is equipped with several labels in compliance with industry and local standards. Generally, labels are attached to the inside of the cab doors, on the B-pillars, on the sun visors, or attached to the outside of the ziplock document bag.
Below is a list of vehicle labels and their typical locations. This list is not exhaustive, and label location may differ depending on the vehicle.

Component Information Label
The component information label is usually attached to the outside of the ziplock document bag and the right-hand door. See Fig. .

Component Gross Weight Rating (GRW) Label
The component GWR label is located on the right-hand B-pillar.

Federal Motor Safety Standard (FMVSS) Label
The FMVSS label is attached to the left-hand B-pillar. It is applied on the interior edge for vehicles domiciled in the United States or manufactured for U.S./Canada operation.
The FMVSS label is applied to the exterior edge of the B-pillar if paired with a Spanish weights and measurements label. Vehicles domiciled in Mexico are labeled with a Spanish weights and measurement label that lists suitable tire and rim combinations.

Canada Certification Label
The Canada Certification Label is located on the left-hand B-pillar, either on the exterior edge, or stand alone.

Mexico Certification Label
Vehicles domiciled in Mexico have a Mexico certification label applied to the right-hand B-pillar.

Spanish Weights and Measures Label
The Spanish Weights and Measures Label is located either on the interior or exterior edge of the left-hand B-pillar.

Aftertreatment System Indicators Label
The Aftertreatment System Indicators Label is applied to the driver’s visor.

Vehicle Emissions Control Information Label
The Vehicle Emission Control Information Label is located on the left-hand B-pillar.

Noise Emissions Control Labels
The EPA Vehicle Noise Emissions Control Label is usually located inside the left-hand door.
The NOM Vehicle Noise Emissions Control Label is usually located inside the left-hand door.

Certified Clean Idle Labels (EPA and CARB)
The EPA and CARB Certified Clean Idle Labels are placed near the bottom exterior edge of the left-hand door or on the left-hand side of the hood. If the vehicle is equipped with both labels, they may be placed in either location, together or separately.

Customer Assistance Label
The Customer Assistance Label is located on the left-hand B-pillar.
