SGA2 Indicator Lamps

Alerts are color-coded to indicate severity. Amber is to inform the driver that an vehicle or other road user is detected in the monitoring area. Amber indicators are only informational. Red indicates that there is a risk of collision. Grey indicates a deactivation or error.

Note:  Depending on the type of instrument panel installed in the truck, the telltales described as grey may appear white.

Indicates SGA2 is not available.

Caution, Side Guard Assist 2

Amber

Indicates an object or vehicle is detected by SGA2. Only informational.

This telltale will be the amber indicator while driving bobtail.

Caution, Side Guard Assist 2 Trailer

Amber

Indicates an object or vehicle is detected by SGA2 near the trailer. Only informational.

Warning, Side Guard Assist 2

Red

Indicates an object or vehicle is detected by SGA2 and is encroaching or posing a threat to the vehicle.

Warning, Side Guard Assist 2 Trailer

Red

Indicates an object or vehicle is detected by SGA2 and is encroaching or posing a threat to the trailer.
