Front Guard Alert (FGA) Activation Conditions

When a vehicle is moving at low speed (0-9 mph [0-15 km/h]) and a pedestrian or cyclist moves or stands in front of the vehicle, the driver may be informed of their presence through visual alerts and auditory warnings.
If the vehicle is moving at low speed and a pedestrian or cyclist moves in front of the vehicle, FGA illuminates an amber telltale and information alert on the ICU. See Fig. .
If the vehicle continues to move or closes distance too quickly, making collision imminent, FGA activates a red telltale and activates the same warning beeps provided by ABA. See Fig. .
