Active Speed Intervention

If the vehicle speed exceeds the detected speed limit by more than a set amount for a minimum duration, active speed intervention may, if equipped, temporarily limit engine torque, adjust the cruise control speed, or cancel cruise control to slow the vehicle.

Active speed intervention displays a pop-up warning window when any of these actions are taken. The pop-up warning window about limiting the engine’s torque is shown in Fig. . The driver must acknowledge these warnings to dismiss them.
